ABOUT

I was born and raised in Kansas City but now live in the mountains in Colorado. I sold my first promotional product in 1994. The company I worked for was mostly focused on business forms and commercial printing. When they took on promotional products I hardly ever sold another business form. The chance for creativity and value in ad specialties was a great draw. As a published freelance writer with a work history that involved ad copy experience, I was a natural. Now I could offer a customer an entire marketing plan. These days I like to focus on unique items and cutting-edge design for growth markets. There is probably not a greater opportunity in any industry to offer customer service above and beyond the call of duty. It's very rewarding.

ABOUT

I am originally from Minnesota, and had a wonderful time growing up there, ice skating, sledding, fun all day concerts in the Summer, and lots of skiing, fishing and water play. Music was also my thing, and I played the violin from age 4 on. Many summers were spent at music camps, and I was concert mistress for 3 years in High School, played in the All-State Orchestra and attend college with a music scholarship. Once in college however, I found my passion was in fact business and changed majors. I graduated with a BA in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Management.

I began my promotional products career in MN working for Taylor Corporation in customer service, and later accepted a sales/marketing position that involved taking a new product to market. I started by naming and creating a logo for a new kind of notepad and from there gave sales presentations, created catalogs and magazine adds, presented the product to sister companies, and traveled across the country promoting at tradeshows. Over six years, I filled positions on the UMAPP Board and spent a lot of time investigating new product opportunities. Several more products were added to the first, to make a full product line.

In 2004, I moved to Colorado and began my life on the other end of the spectrum, as a distributor. I was active on the RMR Board and took on many roles from Committee Chair to President.

My off-time was spent exploring small Colorado mountain towns, down-hill skiing, hiking, and 4-wheeling to places with amazing majestic mountain views, with my now husband. The birth of my daughter in 2010 brought great joy and a new perspective on life.

Me and my family moved to Cheyenne WY in 2014 through my husband's work, and we are enjoying living here. The people are warm and wonderful, and it is a great place for our daughter to grow up.

I take great pleasure in fostering my current client relationships and building new ones. This is a wonderful industry to be in and so glad I have had opportunities for so many years to be involved with it!
